Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy education. The students those are interested in the medical field (except to become a doctor) can choose this course after the completion of class 12th . After the completion of this degree, the students can practice as a Pharmacist. Pharmacists can work in a range of industries related to the prescription, manufacture & provision of medicines. The B. Pharm is one of the popular job oriented course among the science students after class 12th. In this course the students study about the drugs and medicines, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry etc. This course provides a large no. of job opportunities in both the public and private sector.

ELIGIBILITY:

First Year

A candidate seeking admission to B.Pharm Programme must have Passed +2 or equivalent in Science stream Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination

Second Year (Lateral Admission)

A pass at D. Pharmacy course with I class. Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (E-CET) conducted by Telangana State Council for Higher Education.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)is a 6 years course & was established in the year 2011. The department consists of highly qualified faculty and Clinical Preceptors. The faculty and students of department of pharmacy practice work in association with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals of Prasanthi Hospitals, Hanamkonda, Warangal to ensure the provision of rational drug therapy and facilitates direct patient care for both inpatient and out-patient..

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate seeking admission to Pharm.D Programme must have Passed +2 or equivalent in Science stream with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Mathematics.

Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm)

ELIGIBILITY:

Student should pass B. Pharm degree examination of JNTUH or any other examination recognized by JNTUH University as equivalent course
1. Student should qualify Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) examination.
2. Vacancies remaining after allotment of seats to GPAT qualified candidates are open to candidates who have passed the B. Pharm degree examination with minimum 55% aggregate marks and qualified the entrance examination (TSPGECET) as prescribed by JNTUH.
