Dr. Vivek Sagar Paidimarri is the HOD for Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis. He has 10 years of teaching and 5 years of research experience. He has obtained B.Pharm degree from KU, in 2006, M. Pharm degree from BPUT, Odisha in 2009 and PhD degree from JNTU, Hyderabad in 2018. He is involved in teaching and research in the areas of Pharmaceutical Analysis. He has about 11 research paper publications in UGC, Scopus indexed, and Science direct journals. He has presented research papers in about 11 National & International conferences across India. He is the recipient of best poster during the 67th IPC, held at Mysore in 2015. He has guided for about 20 B. Pharm students and 25 M. Pharm students. He has attended various workshops and faculty development programs in India. He is involved in teaching, research, various administrative- accreditation activities and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis.

He is the recipient of best poster twice in international conferences held at JNTUH, Hyderabad. He has guided for about 30 B. Pharm students and 15 M. Pharm students. The department of pharmaceutical chemistry is involved in taking lectures in the subjects of general chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical / medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis for the undergraduate students in the four year B. Pharm course. The department is well equipped to introduce these fundamental subjects to the students so that a strong foundation is laid at the very beginning. This foundation serves as the building block for all other subjects in the entire B. Pharm course.
The department is involved in teaching pharmaceutical analysis to the undergraduates. The curriculum includes extensive lectures and laboratory sessions to ensure that students can connect theory to practice and apply their theoretical knowledge gained. The field of pharmaceutical analysis is very dynamic and the curriculum ensures that the students are kept abreast with the latest development in this field. They are taught classical and modern analytical techniques including the application of sophisticated instruments like GC, HPLC, NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS etc. for drugs, pharmaceuticals and others.
The department has successfully organized workshops pharmaceutical analysis for students and teachers in pharmacy colleges. The department strives towards publishing their research in good impact factor journals and also attends and presents their research work in many national and international forum i.e conferences and seminars.
The department has a postgraduate course, M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis. The students are actively engaged in research activities under faculty guidance in varied research projects like-
